An Update to Our Advertising Pricing
19th March 2026
Since Snicket launched three years ago, our mission has remained the same: to connect job seekers with the brilliant organisations doing vital work across Bradford and beyond, at a price that doesn’t put advertising out of reach for the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector.
For three years, we held our listing prices firm. This was a deliberate decision, made because we understand the financial pressures that charities and community organisations face, and we want to remove as many barriers as possible to getting great roles in front of great candidates.
But the cost of running and growing Snicket, like the cost of running any project, has risen. With mounting operational pressures and a responsibility to ensure the platform continues to serve the VCSE sector, we’ve made the decision to update our advertising prices for the first time since launch.
Our new pricing, effective from 1st April 2026 will be:
- Bradford-based charities – £30 per listing (previously £15)
- Outside Bradford charities – £45 per listing (previously £30)
- Private organisations – £75 per listing (previously £50)
We want to be transparent, and honest. We know this increase may be difficult for some of you, we also know that Snicket remains significantly more affordable than other vacancy sites. We continue to offer a reduced price to our core beneficiaries, those inside of Bradford.
Every pound spent advertising on Snicket goes back into Community Action Bradford & District to fund vital community support work. When you advertise with us, you are funding our grassroots support, making a real difference to Bradford communities. You are contributing directly to the VCSE infrastructure that Bradford depends on.
Snicket gives your vacancies genuine reach. Through social media promotion, newsletters and sector partnerships, your listing is seen by the right people, motivated, mission-aligned candidates who want to make a difference in their community.
A note for grassroots organisations
We know that for some smaller organisations, even modest costs can feel like a stretch. If your group is earning less than £100,000 per year and you’re concerned about affording a listing, please get in touch with us. We’re committed to finding a way to support you, and we don’t want financial constraints to stop important roles from being filled.
Snicket exists to serve this sector. That hasn’t changed and it won’t.
