How is Snicket different from other job vacancy sites?
Well, we’re different in a number of ways. First off, we’re hosted by Community Action Bradford & District which is a local charity for charities, by posting on Snicket you have the opportunity to help the voluntary sector in Bradford stay alive – all income generated goes to our charity for this purpose.
Snicket has a long history locally and regionally, having been around in various guises (previously called DIVA Jobs) for over 10 years helping employers to find talent, and job seekers to find their next opportunity. There are no contracts or commitments, the site is flexible to your needs and you will only ever be charged a fixed price for any kind of advertising.
How much do job adverts cost?
This depends on the type of organisation that is advertising with us.
Being a charity funded to support the voluntary sector in the Bradford District, we are able to offer preferential rates to charities and community groups with a BD or LS29 postcode. Other sectors and geographies will pay a little bit more.
We are a charity or community group based in the Bradford District (BD/LS29 postcode): £15 per role
We are a charity or community group based outside Bradford District: £30 per role
We are a private organisation (includes statutory): £50 per role
To include your vacancy in the Briefing Bradford newsletter is an additional £10 per role when purchased through Snicket.
If you are struggling with recruitment and the cost of paying for an advert is a barrier, then please email us at snicket@cabad.org.uk and speak to a member of the team.
Can I advertise Trustee vacancies on Snicket?
Yes! Trustee vacancies are charged at our standard rates, you just need to enter voluntary into the salary field. We have a category just for Trustee vacancies!
How do I apply for a role on Snicket?
Once you click on a job vacancy, you will be able to see any attachments associated with the post, and any application instructions that the recruiter has specified. For some roles, this may be submitting a CV or Cover Letter; for others this could be sending an application form or completing an online application through the recruiter’s own site – this will vary per position.
