About Education Alliance for Life Chances

- The Education Alliance for Life Chances (EALC) is a Bradford‑based charity dedicated to reducing childhood inequalities and improving life chances through stronger, more integrated support for schools, teachers, families and communities. We work across education, health, early help and the voluntary sector to design and scale practical, evidence‑informed models that enable earlier intervention and better outcomes for children and young people. Our mission is simple: to ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive, regardless of background or circumstance. Through district‑wide system reform, multi‑agency collaboration, and the development of innovative approaches such as Act Locally, School Health Hubs and the Electronic Developmental Support Passport (EDSP), EALC supports schools to meet need earlier, strengthen parental engagement, and build resilient, connected communities.
We convene partners, influence practice, and champion solutions that close gaps, remove barriers, and create fairer futures for children across Bradford and beyond.
