St Christopher’s Community Centre

We are seeking a compassionate and dynamic leader to join us as Project Lead – Older & Vulnerable People, helping to build community, hope, and opportunity in Holmewood.

In this rewarding role, you will lead and manage the Good Neighbour Project, overseeing care, activities, and support for older and vulnerable people. As part of the Leadership Team, you will work collaboratively to ensure the charity continues to grow and effectively serve the wider community.

Role Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of our Day Care service and community activities
  • Promote wellbeing, independence, and social inclusion
  • Lead, support, and develop a team of staff and volunteers
  • Plan and deliver engaging health and wellbeing activities
  • Build strong partnerships to enhance community support
  • Contribute to funding applications, reporting, and essential administration

About You:

  • Committed to supporting older and vulnerable people
  • A confident leader with strong organisational skills
  • Experienced in working with teams, volunteers, or community projects
  • Able to balance practical delivery with administrative responsibilities
  • Dedicated to safeguarding and inclusive practice
