We are looking for an effective leader and deputy manager to develop a vibrant and engaging community offer in the Gateway community centre.

The right person will lead with confidence, demonstrate flexibility and openness to change and promote an organisational culture that empowers, involves and drives excellence

Role Description

  • To work proactively with key local stakeholders and the local community to design and coordinate a comprehensive programme of community-based services and activities that improve outcomes for local residents.
  • To lead the Community Team to establish effective outcome driven partnerships including with local residents, voluntary and community sector organisations, council services, ward councillors and local business.
  • To improve equality and cohesion outcomes for communities and neighbourhoods, ensuring that the programmes delivered in community facilities respond to the needs and interests of Ravenscliffe’s diverse community.
